      Dmitry Y. Khomenko in 2007 graduated from National Mining University on specialty "Assessment and diagnosis of precious and semi-precious stones" received a master's degree with honors, qualification engineer-geologist.
      From 2007 to 2009 he worked at the KP "South Ukraine" in the positions of engineer-geologist and engineer of GIS technologies. Since April 2012 he has been working at the National Mining University as the Head of the Natural Materials Quality Assessment Laboratory. Since March 2013 he has been an assistant at the Department of Geology and Exploration for Minerals and continues to hold the position of Head of the Laboratory.
      In 2010 he completed his postgraduate studies, and working on a dissertation on the topic "Criteria of geological and industrial evaluation of the quartites of the Zhovtorich deposit."
     He teaches practical (laboratory) classes in the following disciplines: "Industrial types of mineral deposits", "Exploration and exploration of minerals", "Methods of exploration", "Geological and economic assessment of mineral deposits". Participates in the preparation of teaching materials for students. Teaches lectures and practical lessons for foreign students in English in the discipline of "Oil and gas"
      In the spring and summer time he does practices in the international geological range in Azov region as a head of practice. He works on the worldwide recognition of the Azov geological landfill, promotes it, inviting foreigners to visit and conducts geological field trips for them. Since 2016, thanks to active international cooperation, teachers and students from Poland, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Sweden, Croatia visited the site.
      Research interests: Geology of non-metallic mineral deposits, natural stone processing technology.
      Currently holds the following National and International Certificates:
     1. APTIC certificate with level B2, from 25.10.2018 NTU "Dniprovsk Polytechnic"

GEOBIT International Certificate - Geological Exploration Methodologist Program, with participation of AGH University of Since Technology (Poland), Geological Survey of Finland, Dnipro University of Technology (Ukraine), PROXIS Sp.z o. o (Poland), Concern Geobit-Pangea (Poland) April-September 2019.
